When we talk about word “ Omni “ its meaning in oxford dictionary is “ in all ways or places “. It is a digital marketing strategy that you have to be present on all social media platforms in order to grow your business and to gain more profit. All these social media platforms are interrelated with each other. Giving their customers same quality of products. This is omni channel digital marketing.  

WHAT IS OMNI CHANNEL:

Nowadays all social media channels are digital Marketing platforms and the people who are using social media are consumers. In simple words we can say that everyone around us is our customer or our product.

Different peoples have different kinds of interests. Some people mostly use Facebook and Instagram. While some mature people like to use twitter .and some teenage boys like to play games like PUBG and so on. On the other hand, some useless people like to use tick tock.

If our business advertisement is only on one platform. For example, it is only on Facebook so the probability of getting customers will be very less. So basically omni- channel is a marketing strategy and the very first step is to be present on all social media channels including websites, blogs, twitter, messenger, email, phone, live chat, gaming websites. They are interrelated with each other. And there must be a consistency of quality of our product along all channels.

ADVANTAGES:

Nowadays everyone is busy in their life, and no one has time to go outside and do shopping so everyone prefers to have their orders at their doorstep.

That’s why businessmen and companies can get the greatest advantages by this laziness. If I would be a businesswoman. I would take most of the advantage through people’s thinking style.

If we talk about pros of omni channel marketing. There are unlimited advantages when done properly. Some of them are:

·      RELIABILITY:

Omni- channel’s main perspective is to provide reliability or consistency of product. Everyone wants reliability like if I talk about myself, I don’t order anything through those websites from which I don’t have any experience

 Because if I am investing my money in anything, I want it to be best.

In the same way everyone wants reliability and people prefers those brands which provides reliability that’s why through omni-channel marketing strategy we are providing reliability to our customers.

·      BEING DIFFERENT IS COOL:

Competition is increasing day by day. If everyone around us can be our customer then anyone around us can be our competitor too. Because internet has become too cheap, and anyone can afford it so there are too many brands who are selling their product or wants to sell their product.

 In all these scenario omni- channel marketing strategy is differentiating us from others which will increase our public demand, profit rates and companies can get more sale through using this strategy.

Everyone around us wants to be different. Like if we talk about women. There can be a fight occur if two women are wearing a same dress. Being different means being unique.

So omni channel is basically providing a different kind of strategy which will attract more people.

·        PROFITABILITY:

When people can see your product through every place or every mean, then of course your probability to gain profit will increases. And it becomes easier for customers to purchase from you again and again and hence increasing our profit rates.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN OMNI- CHANNEL AND MULTI CHANNEL:

·       OMNI CHANNEL

Omni Channel approach is about integrating all social media channels with each other. They are interconnected with each other. For example, sometimes I search about one thing on google and then suddenly started to get same brand advertisement on Facebook or Instagram also. Means they are advertising of their product through all places, and they all are interconnected with each other with same consistency of the product. This consistency in quality is basically most important thing for maintaining their customers that their customer should get same product through any mean.

·      MULTI CHANNEL:

A multi-channel approach is when a company uses multiple channels for the advertisement of their product without having any inter-relation with each other. Means all the websites and social medias are not interconnected. For example, if you ask some query through the website helpline of any brand and now you visit its Facebook page. You will have to start from beginning.

CUSTOMER FOCUSED VS CHANNEL FOCUSED:

Omni channel isn’t about increasing number of its customers and likes, its main aim is about satisfaction of its customer and providing reliability to its customers.

Where as multi channel is only about increasing its number of likes, comments, and viewers. They simply want to increase number of channels available to the customer. There will be no guarantee of reliability across all the channels.

CONCLUSION:

Conclusion to this article is simple that omni channel is providing a digital marketing platform through which companies can get more profit when uses in a right way and it is providing a reliable platform to its customers which is also beneficial for its customers or consumers.
