UX Researcher, Design is the manner design teams use to make products that grant significant and applicable experiences to users. User experience is the feeling of use means it can be positive or negative. Measuring UX is very important for any field of work. if it is a website, a dress, a restaurant, or anything. We should know if we are serving a dish to someone. do they like it or not? Another vise what will be the point of cooking or doing all that hark work?  

There are some key points of measuring user experience which is discussed below.

WHAT IS UX:

UX is user experience. The feeling and perception by using anything. It can be any website, any smart gadget, any machine around us, any game, any product of a company, or it can be anything we ate in a restaurant. It can be for any mall or shop from where we bought a dress.

 We can easily understand through some simple examples

  • The old type of washroom washbasin taps. They are round in shape containing friction when we are going to the washroom, we are obviously going to use soap after using soap it becomes too much difficult to move the tab due to its friction and it’s a bad experience.

  • Some cups and mugs for tea are designed in such a way that they contain a big mouth. In my perspective tea gets cold rapidly due to that big mouth. So, size matters a lot when you have a freaking demand for hot tea. Having tea in that type of cup will be a bad UX.

  • Google map. While we are driving in a Car and a flyover comes. Sometimes you would not be able to decide whether to go on a flyover or not and Google is not giving an exact explanation for it. It only gives us signs of turn or something like that, but it becomes difficult to catch that while driving. I’m not saying that it doesn’t contain any good experience. There are good experiences also, but some of them are bad experiences.

Measuring UX means measuring success. It allows us to know user behavior and attitude after using our product. How do users are feeling when they are using it. You can measure user experience by some metrics, user interviews, questionnaires, feedback, and competitive analysis

1: BY CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEYS

You can prepare Surveys consisting of questions regarding their experience. You can do both qualitative and quantitative research through it. For qualitative research you will need to do just 10 or 20 questionnaires or interviews which will show the positive impact of your website or company this will define the quality of your product and for quantitative research, you will need to do questionnaires and interviews as much as you can. In the case of websites or the Internet where customers are in thousands or LACs, you can do surveys through email or pop-up notifications or you can set some tasks on websites, or through questionnaires on websites.

2: BY MONITORING SOCIAL MEDIA

In today’s era, social media has become the worst disease. People have become addicted to sharing their stories. They also share where they eat, where they go, and what was their experience?  so, we can easily track user experience using social media. Users will always be ready to share their experiences. We can get UX through likes, views, and comments on social media channels.

3: NET PROMOTE SCORE NPS

They contain feedback forms consisting of numbers from one to 10. It calculates the probability of the customer referring you to a friend because if they will be satisfied with your service, they will refer you to a friend.

If your customer gives 10,9 or 8 there will be our promoters and in the middle of the numbers they will be termed as neutral and 1,2,3,4 they will be our distractors.

By calculating the NPS score we can calculate or measure UX. For any organization, it is very important to calculate what is your score.NPS should always remain a positive sign that the NPS figure can help you measure UX.

4: BY CSAT SCORE | UX RESEARCHER

By customer satisfaction score. Simply just ask users whether they are satisfied or unsatisfied with your product or website in terms of numbers. Those replies are taken out of 100 and you can get the percentage of your CSAT score. You can do this through online interviews or an online service, or you can schedule a pop-up after two or three successful tasks.

By system usability Scale. By this scale you can find whether your user got any trouble or problem while using your product or your product is found to be unnecessarily complex to your user or your user is using it easily.

You can make some attractive tasks and then by measuring how much time your user takes to complete that task you can get to know the attractiveness of your product.

7: BY THE EXCEPTION VALUE:

It is how many new users are visiting and accepting your website or company throw a specific period for example if new customers are visiting means they are gravitating along with your website due to its positivity or if new customers are not coming there can be a problem with your product or maybe it is possible that the user didn’t need it.
